The archival quality set will include many unpublished photos of the band in a hardcover booklet, along with essays by Eric Pooley, the chief political correspondent of Time (and a serious Deadhead), Mikal Gilmore, who wrote the two great books "Shot in the Heart" and "Night Beat," Richard Gehr of Spin, Gary Lambert of the GD Almanac, David Gans of the GD Hour, and Steve Silberman, co-author of "Skeleton Key." The track-by-track commmentary is by Blair Jackson.
